Elisabeth Meda defines her style as classic and sophisticated. Her interiors are tailored to meet the needs of her clients, and to do so, she mixes traditional and contemporary elements in order to obtain a custom look. Her interiors incorporate unique one-of-a kind pieces which create interesting spaces. By using Design Center showrooms, on-line resources and local vendors, she has a keen sense of what to specify for her clients no matter what their budget or aesthetic. Creative and original, her design style is timeless.
Elisabeth has been in the field of Interior Design for over 30 years. Elisabeth started her own firm in 2006, and prior to that, was a senior designer at Kennedy & Company and the late Brian Killian. She has worked on projects including private residences, yacht clubs, and executive offices. Completed projects include those in Michigan and Florida.
Understanding Our Design Process
Our tried and true process will leave you overjoyed with the finished product
1. DESIGN CONSULTATION
There is no charge for an initial design consultation. The objective of the meeting is for the client to get to know me and to determine the scope of work for the project.
2. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
The scope of work defines the concept development. During this phase I review the plans, and gather information and samples in order to provide solutions and suggestions to the client, in order to meet their specific needs.
3. DESIGN PRESENTATION
The design concepts, including sketches, finish samples and furnishings, are presented to the client in a series of one on one meetings.
4. PURCHASING & IMPLEMENTATION
Most projects are either billed by the hour, and/or for custom order furnishings, which require a deposit toward their purchase.
5. PROJECT OVERSIGHT
I stay involved in all facets of the process so that I can track the progress of a project to ensure the desired results, while meeting timelines and budgets.
6. FINAL WALK-THRU
Upon completion of a project, I have a walk-thru with the client in order to make sure that they are pleased with our collaborative efforts.
